Nox Puppy and Wedding Stuff
Sunday night Nox started favoring her knee that she had surgery on in 2006 to repair a torn ACL. We watched her closely to see how bad it seemed and it wasn't as bad as it was when she originally tore it but she was definitely in some pain. Lynn and I took her to the vet last night since she was preferring to simply lay in bed all day and wasn't wanting to eat or drink anything. Since we can't afford the scope procedure to really tell how it's injured and the surgery afterward to fix it, we went with the other option open to us. She's getting a pain reliever for a week and then as needed to help her with that and she's been put on a low impact lifestyle. She's not allowed long walks or excessive jumping. She's taken up residence in Lynn's chair during the day since it's right next to me. Hopefully this will be what she needs and the injury will heal without surgery again.


In other, brighter news, we found several locations that are possibilities for the wedding and reception. We've ranked them according to our preferences, prices, and amenities offered. We have a couple calls to make tonight to verify a couple of details but I think we might have found one we'll both be happy with.
